Z&B is a shipping company specialized in fitting out low-carbon ships on an industrial scale, in particular using velvet propulsion. The company plans to launch a shipping service from Europe to the USA (transatlantic) with 5 container ships equipped with rigid wings and dual fuel diesel-methanol propulsion, enabling a carbon footprint 80% lower than that of existing services.

The shipowner is also one of the founders of Windcoop, a shipping company organized as a cooperative that will operate container ships under sail, with a first route from France to Madagascar. The company also operates the Canopée vessel on behalf of ArianeGroup, in a joint venture with Jifmar Offshore Services.
